Summary: After envoking the wrath of Hijikata, Tetsu decides that it's time to head for the hills... or whatever is closest.
Rating: PG
He honestly didn’t expect something so simple to get him into so much trouble. Yeah, maybe that last line wasn’t exactly called for (no matter how true it was), but still it wasn’t like he actually came out bashing his superior’s skills. Tetsu sighed and continued walking. On second thought, who else in this place wrote haiku on a daily basis?
The boy grumbled, kicking the ground under the tree he was currently by. “This stinks,” he muttered, kicking again for good measure. “All of this over poetry. I wonder how long he’s going to look for me…” He reached up to the nearest branch (it wouldn’t be so high if he wasn’t so short) and pulled himself up. If Hijikata came by he would just climb higher… or jump and run away.
