The Pirate always had a crew awaiting his return. Here in Sieben, there was no one to greet him when he came back from a daring mission. There was nobody to tell about his latest adventure. There was no one about to listen to him other than himself.
He had found himself a tiny plant that apparently fruited tiny shots of liquor. It was curious to him, though he realized he wasn't supposed to make sense of it. So he took a few drinks... to the point where he had a nice buzz.
The blonde recalled past events, and began to wonder if his crew missed him. Yet he as he returned to his tent, he recalled that there was someone there. Someone he had grown rather fond of. Johnny appreciated Blink's company greatly. She was a good friend, and someone to talk to.
Shaking his head, he decided to head back to the tent, in a stumbling manner. Perhaps the liquor was a bit stronger than he realized, or he had too much. One or the other. That aside... he was going back to the tent.

When she heard something outside, she rolled over, facing the door. Another breath, this time sharper, and she rubbed the tears out of her eyes and off her cheeks. Footsteps, coming in the direction of the tepee. She sat up slowly; after all, they didn't sound like those of something coming to attack. All the same, she reached for the quiver next to her pillow, grabbing one of the metal shards from the pouch.
"Mister Johnny? Is that you?"
Reply
"Ah~ It is in fact... yes, the one and only Johnny~" There was a slow and southern drawl within his words. He then entered and gave his tent-mate a wide grin.

"Find anything interesting?" She gave him a warm hug, a little chiding at herself for finding such a comforting presence in that smell of leather and... rum? "Smells like it." She gave him a slight chuckle. "Bring any to share?"

He smirked and lowered his shades on the bridge of his nose as he took a step away to look at her. Reaching into his coat pocket he did in fact produce a small flask. He had actually remembered to fill it with his find. "In all truth... y'could say I did bring... a small bit t'share~"

"Oh?" She smiled a little more. "I think I might like to share some." Blink wasn't much for liquor normally, but at the same time, she understood why people drank when they felt like she did. She knew better than to get drunk; besides, with her mutant metabolism, it would be hard to get there anyway. Still, a little buzz might not hurt. Turning away from Johnny for a moment, she sat on the ground, cross-legged in between their bedrolls, smiling up to him.

"Please, ladies first~"

"...That's actually kind of good." The corner of her lip twitched up. "Spicy."

"Been thinkin'... 'bout a few things..." There was that lazy grin still across his face, as he took off his hat and set it aside.

"Oh? Like what, if I may pry?"

Johnny smirked and lowered his shades to look to Blink. "You can pry all you'd like~" He flashed a toothy grin before situating himself into a more comfortable position.
"I'd like to say... I'd like t'say that... am quite glad yer here... Really... I mean that.... yer a good person. Don't ever think less of yerself." The slur was a little more obvious. "Am not thinkin' that.... or saying that..... jes cause am drunk... I guess I jes never got around to tellin' you... an' am sorreh abou-that."

Her eyes looked sad for a moment as she handed the small bottle back. "I... sometimes feel really lonely, especially after things went crazy here... it reminded me of my team... my friends, wherever they are." She turned away, glancing to the Tallus sitting next to her quiver. She didn't know why, but for some reason, she had been able to remove it. She wasn't all that broken up about it, since it refused to be of any help anyway. She still put it on sometimes, to see if it had fixed itself... but to no avail.
"You keep me from feeling alone here, Mister Johnny. Thank you."

"Y'should nev'r feel alone... really..." It was obvious he himself was trying to convince himself to believe in what he was saying. "Yer old friends will n'ver ferget ya... s'long as y'keep 'em in yer heart... after all, someday you'll see them again..."
He quickly pushed his shades further upon his nose to hide his eyes. His voice, his body language, would give one an impression of hope and joy. He seemed lively if anything else. It was his shades that hid his eyes, which gave away how he truly felt.
