Virginia was fidgeting. Badly. She rocked her heels, twiddled her thumbs, and managed to pace half a dozen times while waiting for the man named Sougo. She couldn't possibly be this nervous when an even more awkward version of herself asked him out in the first place, but she was somehow managing it. There were just so many scattered feelings on the matter that her own runaway train of thought was causing her to turn into a nervous wreck. Hopefully she wouldn't stutter....
The last time she let herself fall for someone here...he was gone the very next day. And that STILL hurt her. Part of her feared, perhaps irrationally, the moment she let Sougo get close to her, she'd lose him too. And that was why she was so confused...boys were never anything she was good at.
