A week of training and physiotherapy had take it's toll on Tezuka, and though he might not have shown it, his shoulder was giving him a great deal of trouble. In an effort to distract himself from the discomfort he'd gone for his second method of relaxation, being out in the "wilderness", and hoped to find some fishing gear somewhere. He didn't know what sort of fish he'd find in the river here, but fishing wasn't about the catch anyway.

He didn't get too far out of the village before noticing a familiar figure sitting with their back to him. He'd known that Yukimura was out, that much was plainly obvious when he'd checked their shared tent, but he'd never expected to find him here.

"Yukimura-kun?"

At the unexpected voice carrying over to him, Yukimura looked up and offered the former Seigaku captain a weak smile, nodding towards him. "Tezuka-kun." He was about to ask the other how he was doing, but something about the way he carried himself made the slightly shorter boy guess that he was holding something back, sadness, pain, or something along those lines, and trying his best to keep that from showing, and Yukimura, who didn't want to pry, let the platitude drop unspoken between them. Instead he said:

"I'm guessing you aren't too amused with the owls' latest stunt either, eh?" He had a vague idea of how much Tezuka loved tennis, lived for it, almost as much as Yukimura himself did, and it was fairly given that he too would feel rather odd about being back in Sieben again.
