He hated what a simpering fool he'd made himself over the past day, but it had apparently won over some of the school and that was what mattered. The Queen Bee was even on his side - his side! How absolutely glorious was this farce turning out to be? He didn't know how long he could keep it up, but with the challenge from Will and the chance to get close to the hot Home Ec teacher, he'd stay this way as long as it benefited him.

Right now, the benefits were pretty nice indeed. It was time to slip back into his newest role.

Angelina adjusted the red bow in 'her' hair, and wondered if taking Yumichika's advice about the contacts was such a good idea. Rather than keep all of her hair pulled back, she had half of it up and half down. She didn't have any clothing that showed 'a lot of skin,' but she did have a nice skirt and blouse and she wore that. It went well with the apron she used in class anyway.

Sighing, Grell took a look at himself in the mirror in the hall. "Drab."

Once more into the breach and Angelina knocked on the door to the Home Ec room, opening it just a crack before she called out, "...Mr. Michaelis? Are you here?"

At the knock, Sebastian cast a glance over his shoulder towards the door. "Yes. Come in," he said with a soft smile.

He moved to sit on one of the stools and gestured for Angelina to join him. "So, why don't we start with what you did and we can figure out what went wrong. Then if you're feeling up to it, we can make some together?"

Even if he was playing a role, he couldn't ignore the fact that he was still intensely attracted to Sebastian Michaelis. There was just something about the teacher (and the forbidden nature of the romance) that called to him. Not that it would ever happen in a million years, but fantasies were nice, too. Angelina moved cautiously into the room, shutting the door behind her. Flustered as she always was, she nodded and quickly moved to the seat, not sure if she should leave one seat between them or not.

After standing and staring at the stools for a moment, she figured that the appropriate thing to do would be to leave the space open. But then, Yumichika had told her to grab what she wanted. So she moved her seat a little closer, but still left the one space between them. She couldn't be too forward, after all. He was a teacher! (Grell, on the other hand, was busy screaming at the fact that he had to choose this particular personality for his switch. Honestly, one would think he would have done something a little cooler.)

"W-well...um..." She pulled her log book out of her satchel and set it on the counter, going over her notes. "I made the recipe exactly as written and heated the oven to 425 degrees Celcius... but when I put the scones in, about five minutes later they were burnt. I don't know what went wrong..." Looking up at Sebastian, she blushed a little and quickly dropped her gaze. "...maybe if I could see how you do it, I'd understand it a little better?"

Sebastian leaned in to take a peek at her notes and nodded listening to her speak. He let out a soft hum of understanding once she finished. "That's a bit too high for scones," he chuckled, pulling back. "If you're using Celsius, it needs to be around the 200° mark, which would be around 400° in Fahrenheit."

He stood up and tied an apron around his waist. "I think that may have been where your problem lies... 425° Celsius is nearly 800° Fahrenheit." He laughed outright this time. "Don't worry, it's a common mistake to make. You just confused which temperature scale to use."

Working quickly he readied everything for mixing. He turned to face her, index finger pointed in the air. "Now, I don't mind showing you how I do it, but I'd also like for you to help. It's always better with an extra set of hands," he said with a grin. Turning back, he began combining the ingredients. "I'll mix it, you can knead it and then we'll go from there. How's that sound?"

Sebastian was laughing and Angelina wanted to die. Grell had done the same thing once, mixing up temperatures and ruining Lord knows how many meals. Madam had always scolded him, smacking him on the head with a newspaper or something else to teach him a lesson, but he'd always done the same thing just a few weeks later. Angelina had no such experience, but she still messed everything up.

Face turning bright red with embarassment, she stared down at the ground and fussed with the hem of her blouse. How stupid was that to mix up the temperatures?! But Sebastian was talking again and Angelina jumped to attention, nodding vigorously even though she hadn't really heard what she was supposed to do. "Y-Yes! Alright!"

Laugh at his jokes, no matter how lame they are. Right. Yumichika's advice. Angelina laughed a little nervously, not sure if Sebastian had made a joke or not, but since he was laughing, obviously she should too, right? Moving next to him, she waited to be given further instructions and stole glances at him when she could. Eye contact was hard to maintain when she turned red whenever he looked at her. She had listened and come in contacts though. ...not that it seemed to have any effect on him.

Truth be told, he wasn't very quick on the uptake. It wasn't that he was impervious to any form of intimacy, but really failed to pick up any signs... let alone from a student. Though, he often did have the habit of tuning many things out once he was in the kitchen to work quickly and efficiently. Once the dough was nearing completion, he glanced at Angelina, noting her flushed cheeks. "I do hope it's not too warm in here for you."

Sebastian finished up and set the utensils on the counter top. "Okay," he started as he backed away, "now, lightly flour your surface and knead the dough a few times before shaping it into a circle that's maybe about "this" big," he finished with a gesture of a mid-sized circle. "Be sure it's not too thin or they won't cook right." He placed a hand on her shoulder. "Got it? Don't hesitate to ask any questions should the need arise."

Sebastian noted the blush on her cheeks and Angelina jumped, squeaking as she dropped her notebook. She was warm, but not because the room temperature itself. Being this close to her teacher wasn't something to which she was accustomed. Always at the back of the class, she had contented herself with just watching him work and teach the other students, occasionally snapping (or trying to snap) at one of them if they weren't paying attention. Now that he was right in front of her, she couldn't exactly focus on the work and flustered easily. Shaking her head, she waved her hands quickly as she stammered out, "N-n-n-n-no!! No! I'm-- I- I'm fine! Everything's fine!"

Great, she was failing like a rock learning to fly. Sebastian was obviously not paying attention to her in that way and this was just a lesson. She did need one, that was certain, but she'd been hoping... Sighing, Angelina reached into her bag and put on her apron. She might as well work since she was here. She turned toward the dough and floured the surface of the counter as she'd been told, all the while thinking about how this entire situation was just impossible. Impossible! How was she--he supposed to stay in character and get the guy? Stupid, stupid, STUPID character choice!

A hand dropped on her shoulder and Angelina jumped, dumping flour down the front of her shirt and all over her apron and the floor. She stared at the mess for a moment before her brain jumpstarted and she exclaimed, "Ah! Oh G-God! I'm so sorry! I'll clean it up!" Turning, she frantically began looking for a sponge or a broom or anything to use to pick up the flour everywhere.

Sebastian paused for a moment, an amused look settling on his face. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you." He walked over to a small closet and pulled out a dustpan and a hand-broom. "It's no big deal," he said with an easy smile. "Even the best chefs still make messes."

Coming back over, he knelt down and began to sweep up the flour. As he was doing so, he began to slowly piece together what exactly was going on. Albeit in the wrong direction, but never the less, the signs were being recognized.

He stilled his actions and looked up at her from his perch on the floor. "Angelina, my apologies," he offered again. "I should have understood your feelings sooner." Sebastian stood up, leaving the flour forgotten on the floor. "It must be terribly awkward being alone with me. Perhaps another student would have put you more at ease? My intentions weren't to make you this nervous."

Angelina laughed at his joke and then nearly swooned again when he smiled at her, gripping the counter as he left to get a broom. She wasn't one of the best chefs, or even a chef at all. Really, all she qualified as was...well, she didn't really know. How could he smile so easily and make everything seem so--

Sebastian started speaking again and Angelina froze. Understood? He understood? Was it possible that somehow, despite her awkwardness and her uncertainty that he had still figured out that she liked him? Was it--

"........" Apparently, not. She'd never thought a teacher could be this absolutely thickheaded when it came to the opposite sex, but then, she wouldn't really like Sebastian if he was like any of the others. But another student? No, she didn't want another student and the very thought of it just made her want to burst into tears and leave this horribly embarrassing situation. "N-no, it's not that!" she stammered out, stepping back and dropping her eyes to the ground. Her hands twisted in her apron and she wondered if this wasn't just the worst idea she'd ever had. "I-I like being here. With you."

Sebastian smiled again, still not understanding anything. "Good, I'm glad." He resumed cleaning and disposed of the excess. It didn't cross his mind at all that there could be any interest. At all.

Coming back to her side he gave a curious look. "If you're sure everything is fine, would you like to continue?" He brushed some hair out of his face, leaving a trail of flour reside across his cheek. "I don't want to keep you should you have other engagements."

And again, she failed. She'd even been so bold as to say that she "liked" something and it still hadn't gotten through. Did she have to confess? She really didn't want to, not because she thought it would be a bad thing to say her feelings, but because... She didn't really want to be rejected outright. He was a teacher, after all, so it was decided that he had to refuse her, but that didn't make things any easier.

Biting her lower lip, she nodded in defeat, shoulders drooping as she realized things were just going to turn into a normal lesson. She was right that she didn't stand out in class or really make any sort of impression on people. She was just another face in the crowd. "...I don't really have any other engagements. I was just going to go study after this in the library or something." Angelina raised her head and sighed, looking at the countertop for a moment before risking a glance at Sebastian.

Flour was caught on his cheek and he didn't seem to notice. Without thinking, she reached into her pocket, taking out a lace handkerchief and reached up, wiping away the white mar on her teacher's skin. It wouldn't do for him to be--

Angelina's hand froze as she realized what she was doing and she made a sound halfway between a gasp and a horrified squeak. Her face turned bright red and she quickly backpedaled, tripping over a stool before slamming straight down to the ground.

It was perplexing to him why she suddenly became so dejected. He had never noticed her to look like that before during class. But, as it stood, it wasn't his place to pry. "Oh good, because it's--" he started, only to stop abruptly when she reached out to wipe his face.

"Did I get something on me? Thank..... you," he said trailing off at the noise she had made. Sebastian's eyes went wide once she hit the floor. What had triggered such a reaction? "A-Angelina! Are you alright?" He bent down next to her, a hand circling around her arm. "Did you hurt anything?"

He was touching her. Again! Oh God, she was going to die of embarrassment or worse. She wasn't sure what was worse than wanting the floor to open up and swallow you, but Angelina was very, very certain it existed. And it probably involved a rule book and a beating, or something of that nature. Shaking her head vigorously, she tried to stand up, but couldn't quite get her feet under her. She was a clutz by nature, but when flustered things just went downhill.

"N-n-no! I-I-I'm fine! Just fine! I mean, I think--" She finally just gave up and sat on the floor, hand pressed to her chest as she tried to catch her breath. Yumichika would probably be groaning about what an utter failure she was and if anyone walked in and saw them, she was certain they'd laugh at her. "...I was wrong. I shouldn't have come here," she said quietly, glancing over at his hand on her arm. She shouldn't have listened to anyone about taking what she wanted or anything. "I-I'm s-sorry for wasting your t-time, Mr. Michaelis..."
