The rain and darkness came...bringing with it the ominous and sinking sensation of evil in the air. Giorno knew it well...it practically surrounded Diavolo back in his own world, and dripped from his father each time he spoke. But Giorno was not a boy who showed visible fear. He knew he had to show resolve as a leader. And as such, his expression remained stoic and serious. His entire life, up to this point, had been about rising to the top. He started out as a fledgling Soldati, always so easily shocked. But that...that was then...
Abbachio, Buccelati, Polnareff....Narancia....all had sacrificed so that he could prevail. Now he would return the favor and prove he deserved his title. He would defend this place until his last breath should it come to that. He could hear the enemy approaching. He was ready.
"GOLD EXPERIENCE!" he called out, summoning the shining Stand that stood at his side. "This is it, soldati. Our enemy is unstable and his numbers are unknown. But at all costs...THIS BARRIER MUST NOT FALL!"
