Another Day, Another Mess
So I ended up staying until after 2 AM this morning because I wanted to get Research Methods reading done. But that was a waste of time because I didn't even remember most of the info that I was reading. When I got home, I got the silent treatment from my mother, so I just went to bed. She came in a 1/2 hour later and turned off my light and that was it.
I set my alarm before I went to sleep, but that did me no good because at 6 this morning I hit the off button instead of snooze. I think I thought that I would be able to wake myself up in 15 minutes anyway. BIG MISTAKE!! The next thing I knew, my mother was yelling at me that it was 8:01 AM. So I pretty much missed my first quiz in Health Psych which sucks. It’s not a major loss because we have two dropped grades in this class, which means that I have used one because I missed today’s quiz. Finally made it to school around 10 AM and decided that I read for my Patients’ Rights class, which I managed to finish before Abnormal Psych.
Abnormal Psych was good today because we talked about why peopple actthe way theydo consciously and subconsciously. Prof. Spencer noticed that I was not in at 8 and was worried. She told me not to worry about the lecture so much because a lot of the stuff I learned in Behavior Mod. The bad side is that she issued Assignment # 2, which means I may have missed a group discussion on what they want to do. So I need to see another person in my class to explain it to me and possibly the professor if I have any questions. The repercussions of missing class…
Used my free period to quickly review for my exam. I think it should be pretty easy because the information is straight-forward and self-explanatory for the most part. When I took the exam though, I got 17 out of the 20 multiple-choice questions during the first round and I got the last three during the second. We had short answer too, so I BSed my way through that. But I know that I managed to get one out of the three right because I remembered it from last class. Now I have to go write my commentary on a court decision for Patients’ Rights class and some grad student is telling most of the room to leave because there is a lab at 3 PM. Hope I can find another computer to write my paper or else I am screwed.
