Feeling A Bit Happier

Had a really depressing morning on Thursday, walking round Eastbourne town centre looking for job oppertunities. The job market is really crap at the moment. By the time i met up with my dad, i was feeling quite down, but he made me feel better. He told me that i shouldn't rush into a job that i'm going to hate and that i've got a while to find something. I then worked out that if i'm sensible with my money, it could last me untill atleast May. So i've felt a bit more relaxed since then. My travelodge manager, Julie, text me thursday evening to see how i was doing, which was really nice.

Last night went round to Cara's for a bit of a get together & to meet her new bloke, who is actually her dad's girfriend's son. He's called Stuart (i think!) and he's in the army. Ate pizza & chips, watched TV & chatted. Cara picked up on the fact that i was a lot quieter than usual, so i told her about everything. She was very nice about it aswell. She gets quite lonely in the daytime, at home with baby Lewis, so i'm going to pop round and see them more often. It's times like this that you realise who your real friends are.

Also, i must use the spare time to visit my granparents. My nan is always complaining to my dad that i never visit nowadays. I suppose now i have no excuse not to. Will also give me a reason to start riding my bike again.
