Yeah, so I was thinking about that. Perhaps that idea is too rash; too simple. (Anyway, I don't think you could if you wanted to, anyway.) He's actually kindof fun. One of my buddies hired him for his video competition and found himself enamored. There IS something likable about the ol' chap. I think the idea of killing him seemed like the easiest suggestion to save you from pain that seemed directly related to his existence. I'm not so sure of that now.

As for falling for those vacuous thrill-seekers, hell I know what you're talking about. It takes some big cajones to pull out of THAT pattern. It takes trying on some really boring, droll types and being totally repulsed, to eventually find one that has those exciting qualities you need, but with just enough sanity to be able to emote and love and be a real partner.

Thinking about death is a thrill -- a distraction from the hum of days -- but it's cheap and doesn't really accomplish what you really wish it would. Really, it's just lazy. I know how stupid it is, I've indulged, too.
