Even though I started my job on the 1st of December I still had some days off from work. Of course the 25th and the 1st are bank holidays, but I'm also off the 24th, 28th and half of the 29th. And I could have taken 2,5 more days. Amazing.
I took 1,5 days off because we're working more than the legal weekly hours. Normally they give you those days off at the beginning of the year, and you must use them before the 31st of December. So no choice then, except if I wanted to lose my days. The other 1 day was because I worked too much hours this month (yes, it's starting). You can use up to 2 days/month. So this too I was to used in December.
And in addition to those, I get 2,5 days/month of real holidays to use until the 30th of April (I saved them for later).
I wonder how people can get work done...
