My fingers are crossed
A few days ago my boss and I met with a woman from visual merchandising about a project. She happened to mention that there was a job opening in her area. This caught my interest because I would like to get into that field. But I figured I wouldn't be qualified. Then, during my performance review yesterday my boss brought it up. He thinks I should apply or at least look into it! When does that happen? He's the coolest. But the job isn't listed internally so I don't even know much about it. I guess it's been open for months because they can't find the right person. I know it involves visual display of merchandise and how it's presented instore. I guess I'm going to be proactive and ask the woman about it tomorrow. This has been a week of phone calls and emails on important things. I think I need some booze, but not until after I work out. 'Cause I haven't in almost a week.
