Stuff To a Good Home!

Hey, local peepses! It's time to downsize the Geek Room furniture and make way for Peanut's nursery, which means we have to part with a couple of things we love.

Awesome Thing #1: Rojir's Computer Station

The famed Mikael Corner Workstation from IKEA, it's the predecessor to the new Micke Workstation.  Rojir has loved having it and wishes for it to go to a good home, where it will continue to be loved for years to come. It's one of the sturdier IKEA pieces, built like whoa with plenty of life left in it.

Key features
  • Accommodates all your computer equipment in a small space.
  • Metal dividers keep binders and papers in place.
  • Adjustable shelf dimensions
  • Width: 47 1/4 "
  • Depth: 47 1/4 "
  • Height: 65 3/8 "
  • Color: Black-Brown/White
We'd obviously love to sell this if we can - even for $50 - but if we can't get donations toward the Peanut Fund we'll consider giving it away to a good home.  Difficulty: you must be able to pick up and haul away.  We can help you dismantle it, but I ain't able to do the lifting that I'd be able to do normally. :)

Awesome Thing #2: The Bean Bag Chair of DOOOOOOOOM!

If you've visited me any time in the last 12 years or so, then you recognize this legendary piece of furniture.  It kills me to part with it, but it belongs to go to someone who will love it and use it for all their fun and awesome and nerdly needs.  It is in DIRE need of a bean refresher, after years of drunken flopping and tabletop seating and other shenanigans, but those are readily available at a number of online stores.

Key features
  • Circumference: 177" (20 cu.ft.)
  • Floorspace: 54" x 54" when sitting upright
  • Color: Royal Blue
Again we'd totally be happy to take a donation for this kickass bean bag chair.  But again, we'll totally consider giving it away to a good home.  We can even ship it to a far-flung home if we dump the existing beans and you pay for the shipping (which makes it much smaller!).   Difficulty: you must be able to pick up and haul away.
