A week from next Tuesday classes officially start, but I start my volunteer job next Friday (I love reading, but some of the topics are rather depressing [like a textbook for Juvenile Justice that dealt with gangs] while others are frustrating [the fooking hard sciences with all of the fooking formulae].)
At least I'm having it easier than my online friend from Egypt and another online friend from Canada (the first one is dealing with a very messy divorce while the second one wants to resign from her current job [already gave her two-week notice in writing], but her human bosses want her to stay until the end of September.) The second friend asked me for advice, but all I could do was connect her to a website of Canadian corporate law firms.
On top of that, one of the more prolific posters on another forum has vanished without a trace from the forum (Where are you, flowperson!?)
I need more legitimate connections for my information "matchmaking" network.
