Hey, look, it's me again!
So I had the shortest shift they offer today, which was basically pointless. It's alright, we had some fun messing with various teas and making little mixes. We're a very creative people, us Starbucks...ians?
So far I have yet to get a call for any of my applications, so I am going to start sending out more resumes and looking for anything else. I really don't want to work in retail or in food service, but I might not have very much choice. I just have to remember, whatever I end up doing for the second job, it will only be until about July or August. And then I will be home, in Chicago. I really have got to do whatever I can to get there, which includes working wherever is best and writing my ass off. At this time I have yet to write my ass off, and there doesn't seem to be anywhere best to work. Yet. Sometimes things take time? I'm not really worried.
This is kind of pointless, I just want to say that. Because admitting it is the first step.
