i'm towlie from south park
at leats thats what colby told me after i asked him to come and get high with me after a couple of beers one night. the kid's never been high and i feel like i need to break him in. or any pot virgins for that matter. it's my unspoken duty.
he turned me down though, but he was so close to saying yes.
then, theres this neighbor i have who tight rope walks in my backyard and seems nice enough, ya know? so i asked HIM if he wanted to smoke with me. i was also turned down, but only because his job drug tests him. but still, i asked a stranger.
then theres another friend i work with who's never smoked before either, and she finally told me tonight that she wants to get high. finally. i'll take my victories...no matter how small. so, i've come to terms with the fact that i am towlie.
and i spent some time with russ when he came to town and had a lot of fun talking with him. he likes mitch and i a lot because he said we remind him of himself at our age. knowing theres something better out there and seeking it out. he has definetly made an impact in my life. i'll never know anyone quite like him, or ever forget the experiances i was able to have with his help. i hope we meet up again sometime in the future. i bet we will.
