1) Are character journals used in this game? Yes, character journals do see use in this game--they represent the individual mindscapes described in the gameplay section. Therefore, while the two main comms in this game represent the general Collective Imagination as a whole, IC posting in a character's actual journal is reserved for threads and logs taking place in a character's personal mindscape.

2) Is this game real time? Well, sort of? There isn't really a time system, as time isn't really relevant in the Collective Imagination. When there is an amount of time stated for an event, however, that is in real time.

3) Are there power limitations in the Collective Imagination? Not really. You can do what you want to the other characters as long as you have mun permission. When it comes to the NPCs, however, they may shut down your powers within the world at will.

Mods reserve the right to step in this way if complaints are received, or powergaming/godmoding without permission is occurring; this game needs to be fun for everyone, and even if the NPCs are the ones to inflict torment on you all, they're also here to help enforce the peace. You're all in their sandbox, so play nice, okay?

4) Can my character summon things within the Collective Imagination? Yes. So yes, that does mean things like Summon materia and Keyblades are fair game.

5) Can I apply for a dead character? Only if you apply for the character pre-death. Even if they die soon after in canon, their first trip to the Collective Imagination has to be when they're alive in canon.

6) Can my character bring pets/familiars to the Collective Imagination? This is decided on a case-by-case basis; ask us about your specific situation.

7) Can time flow unusually quickly for a character outside of the Collective Imagination, or have extensive breaks? Barring things like special events, time flows the same for everyone.

8) What do characters do for food and lodging in the collective imagination? There are two options here. First and foremost, if a character catches on to the fact that imagination rules this world, they can provide for themselves--simply strongly imagining themselves in a nice inn room sitting down to a good steak dinner, for example, will make it so.

Otherwise, the NPCs will periodically come by and provide food and shelter for whoever needs it, though what is provided depends entirely on the NPC, as they all have very different styles. If characters don't want to be subjected to their whimsical tastes, then they should probably learn how to create their own necessities.

9) Are multiples of a character allowed? Yes! As long as each character is from a different universe, (EG: One OU, and however many AUs) then multiple incarnations of them are allowed.

10) Are original characters allowed? No, sorry! Only characters in established fandoms are allowed. However, you can tweak those characters by making them AU, if you'd like.

11) If characters forget about the Collective Imagination every time they go back to their own world, do they have to learn about it all over again every time they come back? No! The amnesia is temporary, and pertains only to the characters going back to canon, which likely won't be played here. However, they fully recover these memories whenever they return to the Collective Imagination, so you don't need to worry about recurrent amnesia.
