Is it me; Or is it incredibly hot here
Greetings from Egypt my good friends. Having wireless laptop connectivity is great, im currently using the internet through a wireless feed to the hotel im staying in - if they were to find out id probably get kicked out.
Anyway, I hope you all had an enjoyable christmas - well as enjoyable as to be expected from such a horrendous weekend with the family (who else felt like you were being punished for some immutable crime in a past life).
I am currently in Egypt, if you didnt realise from the first sentence, looking at one of many inscriptions pointing to the famed Hall of Records (which will ring some bells with many of you fine people). How did this happen I hear you cry: well because im a lucky son of a bitch who often happens to be in the right place at the right time.
As for last weeks post - things are looking up considering my foriegnity to matters back home. Its both refreshing and fulfilling to get away from the world - even for a week - and it helps and changes alot. But things are indeed looking up. However, by January 8th I shall be returning to work, and returning to shite which is more understandable considering the circumstances.
As for Owen, thank you for your continued support and kindness - you helped alot, even though you are yourself coping with your own daemons both inside and outside. Just dont let it destroy you like it did me.
As for everyone else, you be well and have a good ole drunken new year. I want plenty of stories from you all on my safe return.
As for me, im gonna have a super cold bath.

God is always there, just open your heart to his voice (but dont take him to seriously since he is currently in good humour and will do anything for laugh - just look at the male reproductive organ, the platypus, and global warming)
