The extended weekend was a great escape from the chaos that is my life...OK so that's a bit over dramatic, but I really looked forward to last weekend and it ended up working out perfectly. The weather kinda sucked except for the day we got to Ocean Shores, that being Saturday. I got some awesome finds at garage sales Saturday...an original Star Wars Trilogy from 1990 on VHS (just like the one i had when I was a kid), 10 of the National Geographic Kids books on animal (also had that as a kid), two really heavy-duty Jim Beam shot glasses and a Shlitz Beer sign that lights up for my garage. THe place I got the booze related stuff also had a bunch of other signs but they were either too big, not my thing, or probably too expensive. They did have an amazing beer can collection which I would of had if I had a house or a room or somewhere to show it off. Now all I need is a Seattle / Vancouver sports related sign and a PBR sign...
Sunday was crappy weather, but I got a cribbage board on the way back from the meeting in Ocean City and broke it in. I think i went 5-2 on the day...not bad.Monday was about the same, Just hangin out, playing some Wii, drinking coffee, beer, etc...and bowling (the real kind, not the wii kind). we got home late Monday, so we didn't have a lot of time to unwind, but it was a great weekend nonetheless...Now a short week, and another busy weekend with weddings, and special day assemblies. You gotta love summer.
