(no subject)
Ya know what? I'm not even going to say it. But this is getting tiring. I hate being stuck in limbo. I can't do high end work and i can't do low end work because they think I am going to jump ship for better pay (which to be fair would probably happen, but I'm not that flakey). The only consolation is that I have the interview tommorrow and that I am getting waht I NEED to get by. Which is fine and we are getting by, but its hard to keep it up never knowing if I am going to make it more than 2 days of work. I know I have the skills and everything. Maybe I am just not being aggressive enough. Just gotta keep praying and making the most of my time.
On a happier note:
the Dropkick Murphys show Monday was f'ing amazing! The first band was OK, but it was pretty cookie cutter punk. the singer was hot though so thats good. H20 was well beyond amazing. The Pit was going crazy with circle pits galore, dancing, crap talking....yeah. It made my night to hear "Faster than the world" AND "Guilty by association" in the same set and to see the dude from Terror and Freddy from Madball come out and do their part on Guilty by association. The only bad part about the set was I pulled a muscle in my ankle bad and got real sore.
The Murphys were awesome as well...I don't know that many songs by them but after that set, definintely need to invest more time into that band. Aside from "Barroom Hero" and "The Gauntlet" among others I got to get on stage with about 25 other guys for the last song and mosh it up. You don't realize it until you get up close, but Al Barr is kinda short. The show amazing to say the least. My ankle was all screwd up so I ended up missing yesterday from work. Its too bad that job didnt' work out because despite it all being ass-backwards, it was something familiar. I will find something. Just gotta keep truckin' on and keep praying. I think I might get out in afternoon service tommorrow depending on my ankle to use my time wisely.
