(no subject)
its been a LONG time since I posted anything but I got that new job and I don't hve internet access like I did before. Speaking of that job...I don't have it anymore! Seems I quit Reinhart Electric just as everybody else who wasn't slow got slow...So after a very busy month things dried up dramatically and they couldn't afford to keep three journeyman going. oh well.
it wouldn't of been so bad really but Megs had been out of work for almost a month because Firefly lighting was too slow too. Thats the thing about small companys: its nice about the family atmosphere but you are more suseptable to the economic slow down that has finally hit this part of the country.
The good news is that Megs started her new job at Starbucks today and she is really excited about it and I know she will do well...and I made some calls today and got a lead that looks like will be pretty steady work for the next couple months at least. The ultimate goal here is to get into the JATC apprentiship program and finish out my hours at somewhere around $25 an hour and get the classroom education I excell at so much. SO it sounds like I have a job and that will hopefull start soon. until then, gotta count every penny...because we are poor. Could be worse though...
