finals update
so we're approaching the final stretch and it's almost over. i go home on saturday and i'm really happy about that... for now.
it started snowing last night as i was walking home from morgan's and it's still snowing now which is really neat looking but it's freezing. i like it. we don't see snow until at least mid-december in tennessee. so right now i'm listening to christmas music instead of actually catching up on my finals. i'm going around four to kaldi's (with my computer in tow) to write a philosophies of feminism paper and finish my poetry portfolio. both of which i'm planning on turning in tomorrow, that way i don't have to do anything but pack, knit, and watch roswell for the next couple of days while i'm here. quite wonderful really.
i'm starting to think about priorities. i'm a creative writing major, but lately i've been hanging out so much in the theatre and doing theatre stuff that i haven't really given my full attention to writing or to writing activities. writing is in a lot ways more important to me than theatre but writing, in comparison, is a very passive act which granted takes hours but involves a lot of sitting. theatre, takes hours, but keeps you active. i have no idea what all of this means at this time just stuff i'm thinking about. i just know that this term has been really hard because i haven't been writing what i want to write which is another reason why i'm glad i get to go home. hopefully i'll be able to read and write some really great stuff.
