I bought My Friend Leonard. I was at the bookstore yesterday, and I went to the auto/biography section to see if by chance they had Sellevision by Augusten Burroughs (which they never do) and I saw My Friend Leonard and I said, "Aww, fuck it!" and I bought it. So then I told my mom last night, and I said, "I NEVER buy hardcovers but his other book was so good I didn't think I could wait for paperback on this one." She asked me how much it was and I told her ($25) and she handed me a $20 bill and said, "There, now it was only $5." Yay!

I had really been meaning to go to the library and look into it, but I just never seem to have time, and I didn't know if they had it or would be able to get it, or how long I'd have to wait if there was a list ... So it's better that I just own it now. :-)

I was a little confused in the beginning when he starts talking about Lilly, since he had talked about her suicide at the end of the AMLP. Took me a moment to realize he's kinda going back in time to start off with. I didn't get to read much of it today - I wanted to finish Magical Thinking (the Augusten Burroughs book I bought last week) before I started this one, so I could give it my full attention. Tomorrow is going to be Reading Day!
