"I quit the stupid FBI!"
I love the Closer. It's actually probably one of my favorite television shows, and Brenda Lee Johnson always makes it worthwhile. Not Flynn, but the other guy, him and the suits and the girlfriend are excellent as well. I still don't like Fritz. I used to favor Brenda and Gabriel (you guys he was on Broadway), but now I think she's better with Pope.
I've just started reading The Devil Wears Prada. I'm familiar with like 99% of the designers, and I find the narrator's unpreparedness for everything kind of bizarre. Buying a bed without measuring your room? Not finding out where your office is until the day you're supposed to show up for work? Blatantly disregarding office rules, because they're a little bit (ok a lot) kooky - even though your time in the office has shown you that not much is "normal"? Yeah and I'm sure soon enough she's going to start complaining about how mean everyone is to her, but she's totally innocent in the whole thing and it's just, you know, the fashion world - the devil - same thing! They both have weird arbitrary mean rules you guys! Maybe she's meant to be one of those tragic heroes, bringing her doom upon herself through her own actions.
That reminds me, in 10th grade we read Oedipus and then put on skits. Extra points for props. I can't remember who I was, I think maybe the queen. My props were a bowl of grapes, sheets, and other people in the class who I made stand around like slaves. I'm pretty sure it was the part where I got to put pins in my eyes. (In 9th grade I was hamlet and I stabbed polonius.)
I also really want to watch Fantasia. It was my youth. We couldn't find my VHS copy, so I had it rented from the library. I won't get to watch it until tomorrow, so I watched the dinosaurs and Chernobog (my favorite parts, except the t-rex eating the stegosaurus always made me sad).
I've been working on this story for about a week, and it's 27 pages long (14,000+ words). I'm kind of impressed with myself, except that I'm not sure how I feel about the content of the story.
I just found some awesome ed hardy winter boots. I'm aware that ONTD hates ed hardy with the sort of fury that is usually saved for the likes of megan fox or... um... mostly megan fox? but I can't help it.
