Poll Hang in there, Chad! Whoa, the first thing I discovered was that I have two different age cohorts for my American registered voter respondents and my not American registered voter (largely/entire non-Americans) respondents. Most - by a lot - of my American registered voters respondents are over 40. The modal not American registered voter respondent is in the 32-40 age bracket, of the 14 of them, one is over 40. I hypothesize this is reflecting that a very large swath of my readers are geographically local friends or friends of geographically local friends, and as such are largely my age (45) +/-10 - and the rest of all y'all more closely reflect the demographics of the internet in general.
For the one, maybe two, American voters so far who might not know this already: there is no guarantee that the uncertainty will be over by Wednesday morning. We have had a contested presidential election in (some of our) lifetimes, and, hooboy. That is to say, it is possible that the election will not be over by Wednesday. The election of 2000, which you might have heard about in history class, dragged on to December 12th. And was only decided by a vote of the Supreme Court. About which you may remember ours only has eight justices at he moment, thanks to the refusal of Republicans to permit a confirmation hearing for Merrick Garland, Obama's nominee.
