Success! Maybe!
I met with a different banker today. When I explained about the credit card and the errant debit card, he helpfully offered to remove all other addresses from my account "if you want". I said, "If that's not an issue for you", and apparently it wasn't.
Yeah. What this suggests to me is that the Know Your Customer laws have different requirements for account creation, than account maintenance. And that the bank really doesn't care to know where I live, once they've satisfied the Feds.
He updated my address, allegedly everywhere in the system, to my business mailing address. I was completely upfront that my mailing address is a mailbox service, and this was completely not a problem for him (or presumably BoA).
He also told me that, contrary to what the previous guy told me, actually nothing more needed to be done to set me up with online banking. *rolls eyes* I'll try it out, shortly.
Cleaned out my Citibank account today, and deposited the money into my BoA account. Once the checks clear, I'll wander over Citibank and close that account.
