Huh, this just crossed my desk:

CODE: Debugging the Gender Gap Theatrical Trailer from Finish Line Features, LLC on Vimeo.

Doesn't look like it says anything really novel, but it's good to put a face to these things and organize them and put them all in one place for convenient reference.

I like how it showed women and girls being enthusiastic about programming. There's a reason to fight this battle, and that's programming is awesome. Of course women would want their fair slice of that pie. It's awesome pie! The problem of sexism in the tech sector can be conceived of poopyheads trying to keep women from their shares of the pie, and then when they don't succeed, pissing in women's pie. It's very tempting to think "if it's always going to have piss in it, why bother trying to get any?" and abandon the field to the poopyheads. But, see, the pie is awesome and it's worth fighting the poopyheads over.
