Even though I don't think anyone's still reading this, I'm gonna post anyway...
This week at work was full of successes..
Finally got a PoE Ethernet switch that's worth a crap, got it configured and migrated all the cameras over to it from the crap PoE switch they were on.
Fixed the cameras "dropping out" issue, finally. Stupid firmware config error.
Factory reset a bunch of Polycom IP-331 phones, built Asterisk, configured it to use them, and installed two in the E-Chem room, one in the lab, one in the office, and one at my desk. Assigned myself extension 1337.
Signed up for Google Voice, interfaced it with the above mentioned Asterisk install, and now we've got a free (as long as the numbers are in the U.S.) incoming/outgoing phone number.
Set up paging on the phones, so I can yell at people when I need to no matter where they are in the plant.
And, of course, I broke a bunch of stuff that needed to be broken so it could be recycled.
