Room 7, Carriage House, Friday morning

May 18, 2007 12:19

Nadia was little more than a lump in the middle of her bed, her head buried beneath her pillows, when her phone suddenly started to ring.

Now she was a lump with a hand flopping around looking for the phone. Furrball, concerned that this might perhaps be a threat to Nadia (or, more likely, concerned that this hand wasn't there to pet him), attacked the hand.

All of this resulted in a good three rings before Nadia was finally able to mutter a sleepy "hello?"

Then she was sitting bolt upright.

"//You are?! . . . No no no no, I'm very happy to hear from you I'm just also very surprised . . . Of course. I'll pick you up at the fairy but I have classes, too . . . Right, right, okay, that sounds good. And then you can tell me what you're doing here. . . . I'll see you in a few minutes. Bye,//"

She hung up and stared at the phone for a few moments.

"Oh hell." Then she was up, rushing through her morning routine, and out the door as quickly as she could be so she wouldn't keep Sofia waiting too long.

[ooc: Establishy, Nadia's not there any more.]
