well i guess my little invasion wasn't too offensive, so i'll take on the challenge of yer question, cuz really, i love questions like this - so many possible answers...

why do women so often whip out the crazy after the honeymoon period? well, sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. sometimes the crazy is there all along but the woman's partner sees it as quirky/endearing/a turn-on/whatever during the 'honeymoon period' [i've seen a lot of friends date crazy bitches and during the honeymoon she's 'a firecracker', 'spunky', 'passionate', whatever, and a few months later they realize, no, she's a fighty bitchy jealous conniving possessive beast-of-nature]. selective blindness, if you will. or lust-goggles.

then there's the possibility that the girl does actually whip out the crazy after a little bit cuz she's comfortable enough in the relationship to finally be herself and not the normal, well-adjusted chick she was pretending to be [i keep using chick/woman/girl cuz it's easier than the alternative full-list, but guys, dually-identifying trans individuals, etc, all have their potential for crazy]. this is me giving the crazies of the world the benefit of the doubt on paper, which i rarely am nice enough to do in person. they weren't lying to you before, they were just doing a bit of play-acting as people are generally bound to do in the whole stupid mess that is 'dating'.

third option, they're lying psychos pretending to be something they're not in the hopes that they can suck you in fully before they take off the pretty-mask and show you the nasty underneath. yep, some people are devious enough to actually think through a plan like this and put it into action. sucks, no?

i don't know you, but i'm sorry yer ex-lady-friend fell into one of these categories. it's bullshit, and it always pisses me off when i hear stuff like this. if you're ever in ottawa i'll buy you a drink on behalf of all the NonCrazyChicksOfTheWorld (yeah, we're kinda like the Wobblies but you don't have to be 18 to join...).

wow that was long-winded. i apologize.
