Just finished book four of...23? I love the world building, but man are these bloated! I feel like the story could be told in half the amount of words/pages. When it's good, it's pretty good escapist epic fantasy. When it's bad, it's really tedious. But I guess that's all epic fantasy... Happy to read something else now. I'm on to Between Two Fires, which came highly recommended.
