I found this post on e-bazm....its about a ghazal by Dr. Allama Iqbal...I really like what I understood...

Bar Taraf Andeshaa e Soodo Ziyaa Hain Zindagi
Hai Kabhi Jaan Aur Kabhi Tasleem e Jaan Hain Zindagi

Bar Taraf = Besides; Andeshaa = Assumption, Accountability
Soodo Ziyaa = Profit and Loss; Tasleem e Jaan = Demanding life in
sacrifice.
(Life is something else; besides accounting for profit and loss
At Times it is the life; and at times to defend it; one has to sacrifice his
own life)

Tu Ise Paimana e Imroz o Fardaa Se Na Naap
Jaavidaa Paiham Rawaa Har Dam Jawaan Hain Zindagi

Paimana = Scale; Imroz = Today; Fardaa = Tommorow; Naap = Measure
Jaavidaa = Ever lively; Paiham = always; Rawaa = Flowing
( You do not measure life with the scale of day to day {Today
Tommorow}[years passes as age advances]
Life is always full of action; Flowing lively; Always Young )

Khuld Main Hasti Se Tu Ubhra Hain Maninde Habaab
Is Ziyaa Khane Main Tera Imtihaan Hain Zindagi

Khuld = world; Hasti = in person; Ubhra = raised up; Manind = As, Like; Habaab =
Water Bubble
Ziyaa = Light, Brilliance, Radiant; Khane = Quarter; Imtihaan = Exam
( In this world you have risen like a bubble of water,
your life span in this radiant quarter (Bubble) is an exam)

Apni Hasti Aap Paida Kar Agar Zindon Main Hain
Sirre Adam Hain Zamire Kun Fa Kaa Hain Zindagi

Hasti = personality; Zindon = Alive persons,
Sirre Adam = secret of Adams evolution; Zamir = constitute;
Kun Fa Ya Kun [ Arabic word used in Holy Quran by Allah, on creating Adam
which
means " BE AND IT HAPPENED" ] Poet is using these words as KunFa Kaan
(If you consider yourself to be amongst the lively persons, than create your own
identity, since in creation of your very being, the word "BE" is the basic
ingredient.
So create your own mark if you consider yourself as an alive person.
