Took me quite some time, and reads, to understand...and come to a conclusion of what I think this sher means:
Nahin minnat-kash-e-taab-e-shuneedan daastaan meri,
Khamoshi guftagoo hai, bezubaani hai zabaan meri
minnat-kash => The one who requests very humbly (prays)
taab => Power / Strength
Shuneed => Conversation
Guftaguu => Speech
What I think this means:
What I want to say not dependent on how well I can talk or express myself...
silence is what I say and my language is without words...
one of those moments when you don;t know what to say...or maybe what you say will undermine what you mean, and so you choose to "let the silence between the two of you, do the talking"......
the look that a mother gives her child when she sees him, but cannot talk because some reason (the picture I have in my mind is of a child coming back home after a long time, but when he reaches there are other ppl also gathered and so the all the mother can do is to have a loving look in her eyes...reserving the hug for later...)
or may be the look that the girlfriend gives "her guy"...in public...can't say much...but the glance says a lot...
