I love tech week! I really do. Even though it is stop an start and very little from an actor/ singers perspective gets done, so many of the other elements fall into place, costumes, set, props. I love stading backstage waiting, it reminds me so much of the very first show that I did on a big stage. I love it! I am tried now and even though we didn't do a whole lot tonight i feel as if so much as been accomplished! So if anyone is on Kingston this weekend you should come and check out the Queen's student Opera's production of Rossinni's (sp) Barber of Seville. This company of the only fully student run opera in North America and I think that what we have been able to do is pretty neat.

On the world adventure note: you may have seen last week on LJ that i posted about an upcoming travel blog, based on my adventure next year...that will begin this coming June! The first 6 weeks or so of after-graduation will be spent in my favorite country on the planet, that country being Italy. You may ask "Sally, what is taking you to Italy?" and to that I would say "Well (insert your name or nickname here) I will be travelling to Florence to teach drama (and apparently music...which will consist of a lot of shackers and walking in time with music)in the Tuscan hills to Italian children who are coming to the cmap, Canadian Island is it's name, to learn english. I leave around the 7th of June and am there until the beginning of Aug and then with any luck I shall be jetting off the Japan to teach English. The land of gelatto and architecture and art and opera and fountians and crazy/creepy men and pure and utter awosme is awaiting, followed (hopefully) by the land of Japan. Can't contain my self!
