Song of the Moment: The Early November - Hair
I've been very busy lately which is why I haven't wrote in here in a while. Yes, I know, likely story. Monday I went to the Yellowcard/Matchbook Romance. The concert was so much fun even though there were a lot of young people there. Rahil and I had so much fun moshing although I did bruise the next day.
The rest of my days have been filled with class, work, and helping people move in and out of their apartments.
The first weekend of August, a shit ton of us are taking a small road trip to Cocoa Beach and doing some surfing out there for a few days. It should be really fun considering that there are close to 20 people going and only 2 hotel rooms. It should prove to be an interesting trip.
Also, people have been egging me on to try out for American Idol. However, the closest audition is in Memphis, Tennessee. That is quite a drive to try out for something that most likely will end in nothing. Though, If I did go, at least I can say that I tried.
I've talked to my cousin a lot about moving up to Chicago for a while. I could transfer working at Gap, live at my Aunt's house for basically free, and I won't have a need for a car. I can also take classes at UIC as well. It's so tempting but there is so much to consider. Recently, this girl Bridget that now works with me moved to Tampa spontaneously from Omaha. Granted, Omaha isn't that big, it's still a city, and it's a city that she had a lot of friends and connections in. She just said it was for her benefit and if things didn't work out, then she can always go back. She just wanted to try something new and see where it went from there. She too is also egging me on to do it and she also says that if I think about it too much then I won't end up doing it. It has to be spontaneous and you have to be daring.
Even if I shouldn't think about it too much, there is still a lot to consider and a lot to think about.
Yours Truly, (Maybe) Chicago Bound Asian
