"Infinity's a great place to start"
Already shaping up to be a good day for me - going to lunch at the local gourmet pizza joint for a co-worker's birthday, then taking a half-day to pick up the girlfriend and her friends at the airport!
Over the last few days, I've caught a little shit from my friends because of how I much I've missed her over the past few weeks, but they don't really understand. To them, your partner leaving means that you get your own vacation for that time. Once that was entirely true for me - I pretty much decided to break up with my last girlfriend when she went away for a week and I had a great, relaxing time because she wasn't around to be a bitch - but with Lizzie, it's different. For the first time, I actually value time with her more than I value time alone, and that's unusual because I've always professed to be a loner at heart. Well, in the past I might have been, but that changed when I finally found the woman I was meant to be with. Every day with her is better than the last, and every day without her just doesn't cut it anymore.
God, I've really fallen hard for this girl, haven't I? ;-) I can't wait to grab her and just give her a big kiss!
