Dylans Tale
The day started for me with waking up earlier than usual to participate in a psychiatric research study which earned me a sweet 150 bucks, payable immediately. This only took two hours, and it was neat that I was the first wave 5 participant (don't worry that it doesn't make sense. I might explain it later one day). So I took my check to a bank and took my money to Top Notch, a sweet art store, where I was able to make all your dreams come true. I bought new art pencils, permitting the professional production of F&P commence. I've already drawn three pages to-day. I also applied there, though they seem to only be hiring those who have experience in framing. Hm. So I walked to a busstop, noticing that I had little time to get home and back before meeting Eliote after school, because he had to leave then immediately for downtown to get his permit. I told myself I had five minutes to catch a bus, or else I'd just kill time in Oakland, and somehow, a 71A came thirty seconds later. But uhoh, it was full as hell, and I had a huge bag, an umbrella and a art goods baggie, so I was like "nuh uh'. So three people squeezed on, and I began walking away to find somewhere to waste time. exactly one block later, the bus, which had somehow fallen behind me, was catching up, but there was another one right on it's ass! Plus, to make the sweetloaf sweeter, it had approximately two people on it. So I got to go home easily because of the following laws of Traffic Physics:
1. When two of the exact same busses are touching each other, the second one will inevitably pass the first one.
2. When an empty bus is in front of a full bus, it will ignore that fact, and pass people up anyway, stating "There's one right behind me"
3. Things will either go perfectly wrong, or perfectly right.
So anyway, I got home, and it was like 1:10, and my mail had not come yet, which sucked because I am currently awaiting the SiCkOfDuMb business cards. My mom, who has been sick for three days, asked me to go shopping [for] with her. I quickly calculated that, provided things go smoothly, I could still be at Schitley on time. Of course then a wrench was found in my plans, and I still haven't determined the cause of death. Eliote called me, and he was calling from Air's phone, which meant either Air was at Schitley, or somehow Eliote was not. I guess we both condone truency in teens. So I no longer had a deadline, but I struggled to keep this from my mom, who would easily find more ways to waste my time. Oh wait, she did anyway. We went grocery shopping, McDonalds shopping, sock shopping (no joke) and then Fashion bug for no reason. Eventually I ended up at Eliotes, where the plan was that whilst Eliote was downtown, I would get to work on scanning the ton of personal artwork I lugged around all day (almost perpetually afraid of rain getting on all of my irreplacable old sketchbooks). Then after hours of that kind of fun, Eliote showed up, and the two man assemblyline somehow moved at least four times faster. Zabet came to pick up up and we ate a little at my house, then talked a little, and when she went to bed, we had our first adventure, loading up on N.O.G. drinks and chips, and of course, COMBOS.

Eliotes Anecdote
Well, after reading Dylan's story, you the reader and me the partner-in-stupid have to wonder how i will live up to his tale...let us see, shall we?
Okay, I suppose my wacky day started roughly first period at Schitley, by coincidence of course, I'm not just going to recount my day from period to period, anwhat...first period Murph and Popps were handing back last week's Quiz, I gotted me a 90%, yef i dee-id, uk-hyuk. Anywell, the double period became more of a double non-period, no work or notes, or "Quiet Friday" as we've grown to calling it. It wasn't as quiet of a Friday for me, (un)fortunately.
Yesterday, I had thought I'd go run down to PennDOT and pick up mah driva's permy rilla quik, but it got to be too late and i got to wasting too much time so it got to the point of not happening. Quite honestly, I hven't really told anyone this part, I had to be taking it now because after Monday I would've had to get a whole new physical, the 18th was the last day I could get my permit. So, I decided I'd get my shit together today and do it afterschool, sounds simple, yes? I had heard Maggie was going to get her's today, so I waltzed over to her seat and asked her what was going on. We started discussing all the things you need to get your permit, all the IDs and shite. I thougt I had it all, I had my state ID and my $5 bill...hoboy was i wrong...we looked through the front of the manual and went through the checklist, turns out you need to pay for your driver's test even when getting the permit, so, the need for $5 became the need for $31, damn. So, I decided, because my last period teacher was not present that i'f work out someway to get a bus home to grab more moneyand get back to school because Maggie's mom was driving her and it'd be easy to pick me up and take me too, everybody wins, right? so, we called up PATransit to check on the times i'd have to catch busses while skipping last period, then i also found out it had to be a check or money order. Then, I noticed I HAD to have my mom there or do some notary public bullshit, but the notary couldn't damnwell happen during school, so i called up my mom, all of this happening during 1st period with the 'no cell phones on' rule being enforced. my mom said she could jog over to pennDOT whebever I would call her again. Cool, things may work out right? Ooh, and even better she will write me a check or at least front me $15 to get a money order downtown...FUCK, I still have to go home to get my social security card! But wait, there's a touch more of good news: we're doing these mindless talkshow performances about the French Revolution in my 8th period class, and I used to always leave then for Golfteam, halfway through class...So, my plan was to leave halfway through 8th period...
So, I went through my day, blah, blah, last minute studying...then came 8th period, second to last period of the day. I left at 1:20 like I always used to for Golf, then I immediately caught a bus the second I got to the stop. I got over to my house, grabbed my social security card, stuff for the warhol, wallet, forms, blah, the works, that's when I remembered Dylan wanted to meet me in front of Shitley when I would've gotton out to get my key to get into my house while i take the permit test, but I'm not gonna be there...hmmm...so, I found Aaron downstairs and used his cell phone to call up Dylan, told him not to come, and that I'd leave a door unlocked, it turns out this helped out everybody. Woot.
I took a bus back to Shitley, and was there super early, I actually got to the meeting spot at 2:07, which was when I was oringally going to catch my bus home after i left school before I thought of the 8th period escape. So, I had time to look through my manual a bit more and hang out in the cold, cold, weather with nothing to warm my arms or neck. After school Maggie showed up and we ran quickly overto PNC bank where her mom would appear to drive us, she did and things seemed to be working out well enough. See, her mom just now got her license a few months ago and she's Brazilian so she doesn't fully understand Pittsburgh yet and she took a weird exit the second before we would've gotton to downtown. We were forced back into Oakland and had to find our way back, Maggie would go back and forth between yelling at her mom and arguing in English and Portugese, reminds me of Demmler. Then, we got back to downtown, and the clock was ticking, it was getting close, I called my mom again and told her to show up. Priscilla (Maggie's mom) parked while we jogged through the drizzle with all of our documents to the DMV and my mom appeared, throwing cookies at us. Then, she had to go run and get a money order because she didn't have her checkbook for no apparent reason. Then, Priscilla appeared. And we noticed we didn't have to wait for our number because we were permy's and therefore special. After a bunch of confusion we got onto our computers busily a'workin'. I finished first, 1 question wrong, PASS. Then, Maggie was on her last one and wanted some help so I coached her along like a teacher might do, supportively but not too revealingly. Then, this guy across the room jumped over the desk knocking old women over and screamed "YOU HELPED HER, SHE FAILS!!" So, even though I think she technically passed, she has to take it again Monday. I felt bad, but she didn't really blame me. Then, The Delorier's went away in their car, my mom went back to her PPG office and I trudged through the briskness to the Warhol to drop my form off and I took an 86-A home, there I found Aaron and Dylo.
We scanned a million pics for you guys from all sorts of things far and wide sick of dumb. After photoshopping and cropping these we got a ride from Beth over here to the Beck-pad. Since then we've gone on an adventure, drank a Monster and ate some Chip'ms. Next comes the big bag of combos and a movie, not to mention a mini-comic for
P&NS, that I mentioned last time.
End, for now...
Firstly dude things firstish, within the entity band CODA exists a tiny two person acapella crap thing group called Friendwich. The EP is now available.
Contact us 4 info.
Also, Sick Of Dumb will soon be hosting and posting several stories only vaguely related to F&P, as to be a different novel. These will exist shortly, I guess, when we have more time. A few other random things from those stories are
Jack, a Kiasyd Vampire, is a main character of Blood Chronicles. (Note to readers; I already hate that name)
Kyle Witchbande, as some of you may already know, a Malkavian Vamp is a mainer character in the Blood Chronicles.
Eltsa Clive; ok I lied. She's in F&P, but I love her so much I wanted to include her for once.
So we worked on the section of comic to be featured in the upcoming issue of P&NS, and these two guys
are having a ball. The new pencils are practically orgasmic to draw with, and coupled with the inking pen set I splurged on two or three weeks ago, we have magick.
Flem and Took range quite a bit, throughout the duration of the books, from crappy stick figures, to semi elaborate cartoons, to full out manga style action fighters.
Also to be updated, with some of the junk that isn't here (so you have to look there too^_^) is
DeviantArt, which is a bit more ambiguous than just the Very Almost postings. Sadly, the website still has not been touched, yet soon, I will use the skills my super college webdesign course grants me to fulfill it's every desire.
Be sure to pre-order your
P&NS to-day, so you can own the first official Flemchac And Partook publication. Either contact
P&NS or us at Flemchac@gmail.com or Partook@gmail.com for details.
For now, that is all I have consciousness left for. Until next time, I want you to sit there and think about what we've done.
