passions

"Everyone has a passion that is lost on others" - quoted in Style Rookie, originally from Robin Givhan, The Washington Post.

My passion is my drive for contentment. I spend so much of my time assessing where I am and what I am doing, then I try to find contentment in the result. Some places bring me there automatically, like being home or even in my dorm room, and some people do that for me - Melissa, Stephanie, my mom, Henry.

For me, contentment is insanely important and when I talk about it or when I feel that infinite contentment, I can't help but feel empowered, passionate. I think that's the key to living a purposeful life, frankly, searching for whatever brings you to that uplifting contentment. It's different for everyone, but as long as you can identify yourself, you'll be able to identify what makes you content.

Also, on a different, much less 'Lucy' level, I have an insane passion for the newspaper. Everything takes a back seat to the North Wind.

What's your passion?
