On the good ship lollipop...
Ok folks. I need to know...do I give off some kind of vibe that says please talk to me, I want to hear your life story? It has happened again...
I was sitting at a stoplight the other day, a STOPLIGHT when the guy sitting next to me in a moving truck say "Yo, hey girl. How you doing today?" To which I meekly replied that I was good, how was he doing. That right there I'm sure was my first mistake. I should just ignore random people who talk to me. So through the next 3 stoplights he made a point to time it just right so he'd be sitting right next to me and ask me questions like "Got a boyfriend?" "Is he good to you?" "I'd treat you right". After all this I made an emergency stop at the gas station. Sheesh.
Then last night we had another talky waitress. Yes, I want them to be personable and talk, but I dont want to hear life stories. It makes me feel like I have to contribute to the conversation. I should just try what Autumn said to do...while they are talking, look everywhere but at them like you're looking for someone else and answer with one word statements. Yeah, No, uh-huh.
Also, according to my calender, Today is Sarah's Bday. Happy birthday Sarah!!!
We also got the new computer hooked up. I like this. Everything moves so much faster and the fact that I have my own desktop excites me to no end. I can have any wallpaper I want!!!
