Beta Wanted!
ummm... well, I don't quite know how to start this off.
I've basically left my stories unbeta'ed up until now and I've managed that way, but just managing is no longer enough (not that it ever was, the chronic procrastinator I am just kept telling herself she would eventually get a beta, and predictably never ever did) and I want to ward off ( Read more... )

What I can offer: a mother who taught English, a non-defunct career as a writer for a non-profit organization, a nearly-obsessive demand that people honour canon by spelling characters' names correctly and the like, a master's degree in counselling, a previous job as a pharamacist's assistant (good for all that drug stuff) and oodles of free time.
What I can't offer: I don't watch live TV so I'm always at least a month behind with new episodes in any of my fandoms that currently are broadcasting. So if your stories are nearly always post-episode or the like, I'm not your woman because I won't have seen the episode.
