i just want to say sorry to anyone who planned on hanging out or coming to see me on the upcoming tours.

after a year and a half of touring, i am not with roses are red anymore due to a "business decision."

it really sucks when your friends sell you out like that. especially the week youre supposed to leave for tour. people change i guess. i dont have time for shitty dudes anyways.

thanks to all my friends and everyone i met over the past year and half while touring. you guys rule, i love you all. we had some fun times.

as for tour, i have had some offers and plan on going back on the road in a bit. i am definitely looking for more work, so if youre looking for someone to do merch/crew/or even tour managing for not so experienced bands, i am available depending on the offer. i have really gotten my shit together lately and plan on being very professional about it.

if you have any questions or anything, feel free to message me.

and if you have any concerns or are upset about this recent change, you can leave Roses Are Red a comment HERE

oh yeah and for any of you lame ass kids that are gonna try to apply for the rar job now...its taken so dont hold your breath.

i posted that on myspace today. i figured it was the most acceptable way to put it. i know the RAR dudes arent too stoked on the statement, but whatever, im not too stoked on what they did. it sucks. these people were supposed to be family, i thought they were all my best friends. apparently, that doesnt matter in this business. the thing that kills me the most is tomzenns. he was my best friend and i helped get him in this band. he stabbed me in the back. taking something someone says at a party out of context and running it right back to the guys isnt something "a friend" would do. its something that someone who only looks out for themselves would do. oh well, im sure mark will have a great time doing merch. its funny how quick things change. kevin bro's it down with mark and was probably like "hey man ill get you in rar" and here we are now. now im out a job and a best friend.

AND ALSO, its funny to think how much i talked about being stoked on this tour and how professional i was going to be while being with tom, kevin, and even vinny! all the while they just sat back going along with what i was saying, knowing they were going to do that soon.

yeah i know i liked to party. and yeah i know roses are red are complete professionals. and yeah i partied a lot and dicked around on the shitty one week crash romeo tour in jan...yeah that same one where no kids came out. the "more bands than fans" tour you could even call it. dont blame your low sales on me. i cant make kids buy shit. sorry if a) they dont like your music b) there are no kids there to buy anything c) even if they did want to buy something, there has been 2 new shirts in the past year, so they probably already have it.

whatever, i guess im to blame for this. sorry i worked for free for a year and a half. that really hurt you guys.

its kind of funny how 2 months ago they kissed my ass. after that whole steel music hall drama thing where i got my ass beat, they posted on a local message board that they were "staying out of it." and everyone came down on them saying they were "selling me out" and whatnot. they didnt want to look bad, so they kept calling me and trying to talk to me and be real nice. they wanted me to post something saying how "we're cool" and i know that theyre not trying to sell me out. once i did that, they got me pumped for take action, even said i could take my best friend on tour as an assistant. 2 months later, no tours later so nothing has changed, i get kicked out...THE WEEK OF THE TOUR. weird.

anyways

here's what it comes down to...

BUSINESS > FRIENDSHIP
