friendster v. myspace, or is it me?
so in my three years of having been on friendster, i've never been messaged by a stranger. a week ago, a friend invited me into myspace but i got distracted while i was setting things up, so was only able to upload one picture. otoh, my frindster profile has four pictures, lots of descriptions, etc.
i've gotten three messages from boys in the past week, all looking for "friends," and somehow found me worthy of saying hi to based on my mug.
i can draw one of two conclusions: a. myspace encourages more messaging somehow, or b. if i want to attract boys, i should just shut up about liking eustache or millay and show more skin.
or maybe a *and* b. opinions?
[note: i still don't feel like actively dating, but the ego boost is kinda nice.]
