so close to getting in trouble
i nearly incurred the wrath of my manager today. i took the liberty of excusing the rest of my team from work.
remember that this is not sending them home early. it was sending them home when the job was done.
boss asked with some consternation, "you sent everybody home?"
there is a long story behind it, but the upshot is that he trusts my judgment a little more than he did before. i hope. after seeing that the work was indeed done, he took little or no issue with it.
