I love Over the Edge'10 @ OSAKA.
heidi. 's performance was awe-inspiring. If you think they're good wait 'til you see them live. It was different! They exude with passion on every song they perform. I was totally starstruck especially at the part when they performed チャールズ (Charles). That song gave me goosebumps as most of the crowd shed tears listening to them. It was a smooth song with a very powerful performance.
Girugamesh rocked the floor with their unbeatable energy. Should I need to say more? No. I'm pretty biased with this band. So I'll just let マオーシ do the talking at her live report. Oh! RYO waved at the audience before he made his exit. He was smiling ear to ear waving his hands like some schoolboy sending his cute "BYE".
D=OUT's performance was dynamic. Unfortunately some of the audience took their performance for granted to the point D=OUT had to halt their performance of KIMON and changed songs since the crowd wasn't cooperating. Anyway, I like their jazzy traditional japanese sound! This band needs more love.)
Makoto of DOREMIDAN did an impressive MC that changed my view towards this band. I find him very funny with a very down-to-earth persona onstage seen on how he interacted with the crowd. Their performance of TIME MACHINE was really good!
TATSUROU (MUCC) and REO (Lynch) made a special appearance during the 1st session band which caught me and my friends by surprised. I really can't believe the moment I saw a long haired man wearing a kimono and hat appeared like a vision on stage and started singing with this unique and powerful voice. ( ´艸`) I think our facial expressions that time were priceless! They were so freakin' good! Well, what do you expect when great vocals and killer guitar skills meet?
and oh. . .
Vidoll did not fail to impress me. I just love humble bands who never seem to change into arrogant pricks in spite the fame they've acquired through time. Jui like Makoto had an impressive MC that made the crowd laugh every now and then. He was rambling something about covering his face with make-up and comparing his unmade look to his face when having sex. ( ´艸`) Yes! he said that. Thanks a lot to
shuuha for translating it to me and マオーシ .
Unfortunately, I was disappointed with Wataru (12012) and Mao (Sadie) that time. Their performance was good don't get me wrong. I guess them entering the stage and then exiting after their performance without an MC or a simple "Hi! Hello! げんきですかOSAKA?" like the other bands kinda turned me off. They were kinda haughty onstage. Dunno~maybe it's to give them more edge, increase that "ROCK-STAR effect". Whatever it is, it made me raise an eyebrow (and to think these two were my favorite members). But hey! the other members were really funny like I didn't expect AKI (Sadie) to be so pumped up and start teaching the crowd some furitsuke moves.
