(no subject)
Today is the last day of September. I can't believe how fast it went by. The month has been kind of uneventful so far- even though it is my birth-month. :)
I put in another bid for an art project- they want some Gary Larson style cartoons which would be a cool project.
I've thought alot about quitting my job since last Friday and have decided to stay for now. I can't quit cold turkey- not with bills to pay, and that would mean no school next semester :( So I'm keeping my eye out for things and I've been sending my resume out too. I've thought alot about this whole art thing this week too. I'm really excited with some of the new things that have been going on... Applying for art related jobs, sending out tear sheets... Even though I haven't had any bites yet, it's still exciting just knowing I'm taking the steps necessary to get there.
Before starting my storyboarding class I was kind of at a loss as to what I could do to break into the art scene (it seems so overwhelming). Then Matt showed us all kinds of practical things that we can do right now to get stuff out there and I'm really jumping in with both feet now that I feel like I somewhat know what I'm doing.
Speaking of Storyboarding- I have to write a screenplay and it's due in one week and I have COMPLETE WRITERS BLOCK! I can't think of any stories... well, I did think of one but when I tried to write about it, it fizzled out on me and started sounding more and more retarded.
So, I'm going to go think some more now...
Also, as soon as I get my computer up and running, (I'm not on my own right now) I'm going to try to post some pictures.
