Saturday I worked at Aerospace library. Its part of the complex that houses the states IMAX theatre. Sadly, the IMAX doesn't actually show any real movies. Just documentries. The library had less then 15 patrons all day, and most of those were in there for computer use, 2 or 3 were ladies picking up fucktons of books to read, and the rest were for the family story time. 2 moms, lots of children. I was pretty much left to surf the internet all day, and sadly, without the option of playing games, and stuck on internet explorer as well, I discovered I couldn't spend 8 hours on a computer anymore.
Tuesday was my birthday. Sylvia got me the Black Jewels series in one collected volume. It fucking rocks. One of my favorite books, and she remembered. =) She also got me a cd I asked for last christmas. Garth Brooks greatest. Lots of songs I enjoyed. Sylvia even sang alond with me on some, though she did do her 'make fun of people's country accent' accent. Grandma asked me what I wanted and I said Guitar Hero 3, for the Wii. She gave me her debt card and had me go and get it. She also thinks that Darrel lives in Jacksonville, and I can borrow his Wii whenever I wish. I just don't want my family knowing I have a wii. My brothers will always want to play it. Between the two, I like Sylvia's better. It shows that she thought and cared enough to remember something I'd like and took the time to get them for me.
