Really Florida? *sigh*
Currently winning by an over 70% vote of yes is Referendum 1 Balancing Federal Budget (Nonbinding). Translated, it goes a little something like this:

A NONBINDING REFERENDUM CALLING FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION
In order to stop the uncontrolled growth of our national debt and prevent excessive borrowing by the Federal Government, which threatens our economy and national security, should the United States Constitution be amended to require a balanced federal budget without raising taxes?
WTF? So we should force government officials to balance our budget without allowing for the most effective measure that they have in their arsenal to do so? All so that the public doesn't need to sacrifice their own personal pleasures/wants/needs/desires in order to achieve the goal that they, themselves, want? Talk about the American way.
...And I'm not even going to start in on Rubio winning the Senate seat. *shudders*
