I'm watching Eurovision, out of boredom and vague interest. It's awful! There was just a group of blokes singing without any music and they had a robot thing that they walked about? I reckon it's like in Father Ted where they don't want to win and have to host it so they just do it really badly.
I went to the library with Lara today for a 'revision session', it was lucky i'd done a couple of hours before we went because we didn't actually get much done. Due to the extreme busyness we had to sit in the computer bit which was a bad idea as we ended up talking to each other on msn from 2 seats away. I was minding my own business reading about Highland Scots (i will get it into my exam!) and the man next to me started like, trying it on...yes in the library. He starting making talking noises but i ignored him for a bit then i felt bad so i looked at him, he was a not very young Indian man. The conversation went something like this:
'What's your name? What course do you do? Where do you come from?'
Meep
*Shakes hand*
Meh
'Are we friends now?'
Errr
'Can i have your phone number?'
No!
'Your email?'
No! I've got a boyfriend.
'I want a good friend, i really want a girlfriend'
Oh
'What about your friends? Are they single? Can one of them be my girlfriend?'
I'll er think about it.
Later on...
'Which one of these pictures of me do you think is nicest?'
Er that one?
'Have you thought about your friends yet?'
Yes unfortunately they've all got boyfriends.
'All of them?'
Yes. They're all leaving Leicester soon too
'But they'd still be in the UK??'
Hmmm
'I really want a girlfriend, i've never had a girlfriend' *looks sad and desperate*
Well you need to get out there and meet someone then
'How? Where do i meet nice girls?'
Well just make friends with girls, things can just lead on from that *man looks believing* or go to a pub, it'll happen in time, don't worry about it just have fun?
'Thankyou, thankyou'
Sian makes her escape.
Awww i felt sorry for him he looked all sad and desperate. Obviously a bit weird as he was trying it on with me but he was all foreign and lonely looking. I'm nice, i became his agony aunt. Thanks Graham though! As it was unfolding instead of offering to kill desperate man and manfully rescue me he says 'i hope you're being nice to him'. Haha.
Eep but even worse, yesterday morning we got woken up by this moaning noise outside and 'help mee', we looked out of the window and there was an old man lying in the street. He'd slipped in the wet and banged his head and because he had a walking stick he couldn't get back up! It was so sad:( Graham shouted out to him that he was coming to help and went and lifted him up. He was ok, hero Graham took him home and then checked on him later. It made me all sad though.
