Mixing with the 'stars'
Ugh i'm all sicky today. Went to Robin and Lara's halloween partay last night, i was a Sian witch complete with 60p broomstick and a spider. Graham was a 16p mask that came to halfway down his chin haha. It was a funny party and this guy who turned up in our lectures last week arrived with cheese and started making cheese on sticks in the kitchen. I was sick in the night even though i hadn't drunk thaat much or got a takeaway. Huh.
We went and filmed the 'Sugar fashion show' last week and it was great. They seemed really pleased that we'd come to film it even though we're just some uni people and they let us go anywhere we wanted. We did some interviews with the Sugar publisher, the woman from the model company, Jamie someone from 'One true voice' - that shit band who failed miserably against Girl's Aloud and this dancing band who apparantly supported Nelly on tour and whose video is playing on Mtv Base at the moment. Other highlights of the day included the man who sang 'Sugar sugar' on the Timotei advert and some punk band who didn't go down very well with the screaming 12 year olds. Oh yes and then there was Jeff Brazier who when asked if he'd do an interview with us went 'oh fu..' then smiled broadly. We just asked him about the show and stuff (not 'how's Jade Jeff?') then let him go, he was quite small and cheesy looking. The girl who was looking after us was really young looking and she said she graduated in July and sent off her CV to loads of PR companies in London and she got a job for one that looks after Sugar and now she does things like that. Perhaps i'll do something like that then, she seemed to sit drinking coffee and talking to bands a lot.
In other news my dissertation is meh, the woman was all 'ohh you don't need to be worrying about it yet, you've got all year to work stuff out' but i'd like to actually decide on something soon. For my other thing i've got to find an advert that represents 'first impressions' then design my own that takes the piss really..hmm. Oh yeh i might buy a sports card and go to the gym, Graham said i've got a big fat bum, a squidgy tummy and a double chin. Oo we're going to Manchester next week to see Mando Diao, havn't been to a gig in ages.
