Ah! I'm so lucky! I'm running around all the time and have lots of things to do.... and all of it is fun! It is so good when you are really busy with things you like to do.
I have music all around me, music sheets all over my flat, practices 3 days per week, and new horn is so fun that it seems like 50% of the left over time goes to practicing. My wind orchestra is still going strong, I'd even say we are better this year than last year. I've also started in the student symphony orchestra, bit easier music but just as fun and quite different from the wind orchestra. Had to play in a audition for symf.orch, was quite scary since the conductor is a horn player. Orchestra is easy, but involved in UKA, a student festival thing going of in October, so there is several extra practices and stuff to do. On top of this we have gathered a group of horn players who practice together now and then, playing fancy horn stuff and share good ideas for what pieces to ask the music committees in our orchestras to pick. MUSIC!!! *dances*
I'm having a fine time at work, doing nothing and getting money for it. In the evenings there are plenty of time to do all the schoolwork I need to do, leaving the rest of the day to fun stuff. I've also found time to Organisasjonen Landsbyen, the flea marked, some writing of pleas for money from here and there, and last week I was up there Saturday to Sunday doing some random work. Mostly taking down and cleaning all the nesting boxes, polishing(?) the steps in the new staircase, picked moss and fixed old kettles. I like Landsbyen, our little house, the mud outside, the people, the food, the idea.
Me, a guy from the orchestra and one of my flat mates (also a wind orchestra person) has started to jog twice a week. Decided that we were way to untrained and bad, some training would be good for us, both healthy and good for the breathing. I've mumbled about starting to run now and then, but I'm to lazy. Being three it is a bit more pressure. And it helps. Yesterdays round was seriously much better than the first 3 weeks ago. And 3 weeks from now there is a LARP, the Eastern Frontier 1943, and the organizer want me as a running enemy/person for the players to kill.... *tired already*
Haven't climbed much this year, first I broke up with my old climbing mate - my (ex-)boyfriend, then I got problems with my hand, then I haven't had the time/anyone to climb with. All in all very sad. BUT! Today me, Ida, Ole and said ex-bf went climbing! Yay! Someone was very tired after climbing a not so hard route... *points at self* But so fun! I've missed it, and it seems like I've lost some muscles since last time. So, to make things better me and Ida will repeat the event next week. Hopefully... I'd better prepare a good excuse for my boss at work in case he tries to force me to work that evening.
I've also found my tablet-weave(s) again, finished some bands and tried out a new technique, doubleface weaves. Real fun, I made my first letter 4 days ago, maybe I can manage an entire alphabet! Yay! Fun! And there are several people learning to weave now -> more people to share the fun/nerd activity with!
Tomorrow my dad comes by, he has bought a new car and drives past here, occupying a bed for one night. Surprisingly I don't have that much cleaning to do, my room has been quite nice and tidy the last month, I wonder what has happened, have I finally learned something, or is it just because I have so much more space?
Anyways, a stressed but happy Si has more stuff to do! I want more time to have more fun! Many of you that I haven't seen in a while! And I haven't read one single book this month either *shocked*! *hugs everyone*
(ah, I forgot to tell you that the weather the last weeks (month!) has been nasty, cold, rainy and autumn like. My room is freezing since the radiator isn't in use this early. My temper has been a bit like that, influenced by the weather probably, but I still have fun, indoors.)
