Happy Post!
So my past couple of entries here have been pretty emo/ sorry about that. so to mix things up a bit how about a Happy Post (Y)
I went to Birmingham today (on my own!!!) for an open day and ohmygoshh! I love it so much. I cannot wait to spend the next 3 years there.
I'm going to do English Language and American Studies. its a four year course and I spend my third year in the USA or Canada! it's just so perfect. I'm going to make sure I work my ass off to get there!
Also i stole this idea off c_hrista , but keeping up the happy post, here's a random list of 10 things that make me happy!
- The smell of new books
- Driving around with The Like blaring from my speakers,singing at the top of my voice (and the funny looks you get when the car in fronts sees you in their mirror!)
- Nights in with my girls: playing Harry Potter sceneit, eating extrodinary amounts of food and just laughing.
- The sound of rain on my skylight when i'm in bed.
- The burning in my legs when i'm hiking up hills.
- People calling me by my full name.
- When my dog knows I've had a bad day and just comes and curls up next to me on the couch.
- Looking through old pictures from Switzerland, Africa and D of E
- Spontaneous road trips around Calday at lunchtime scoping out the fabulous houses.
- Those free periods at school were not work gets done but everyone laughs untill their ribs ache.
